Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited Acquired 100% of equity stake in Perma Construction Aids Private Limited for Rs. 291 million. IMAP India was advisor to Perma in this transaction.
Incorporated in 1997, Perma Construction Aids Private Limited, is engaged in design, manufacture and supply of construction chemical products in India and aboard under the brand name “PERMA”. The product range includes water-proofing, adhesives, epoxy and admixtures. The company’s manufacturing facility is located at Sarigam, Gujarat with a total manufacturing area close to 60K sqft. It also has exports to Sri Lanka, Nepal, Mauritius and Ghana.
Kansai Nerolac Paints is among the largest paints companies in India. It is principally engaged in the manufacturing of Paints and is a market leader in Industrial coatings. Leveraging its position as a priority supplier across various automotive OEMs and ancillaries, the company now has a substantial presence in Performance coatings & Powder coating. It has continued to venture into newer areas of Wood coating, Adhesives, Transportation coatings, Coil & Rebar coatings, Super durable powders, and Construction chemicals.
Commenting on the transaction, Mr. H.M. Bharuka, Vice chairman and Managing Director of Kansai Nerolac said,
