Sumesh joined the firm in 2022 and leads business development. He is instrumental in expanding IMAP franchise by leveraging his experience and network. 

Sumesh has 25+ years of professional experience in commodities risk management and institutional business development. He started his career in Birla Copper as trader & risk management executive, then moved to EY as  as head of  financial risk services and advised multiple blue chip clients on risk mitigation strategy. He has been instrumental in building MCX network in the country where he left as Chief Business Officer and Director Business Development. Apart from this, he had worked as CXO and other leadership roles, in various corporates like Wadia group, Star Agri, Kunvarji Group and Matix Fertilizers where he was instrumental in strategic business areas and growth. Sumesh has received  his MBA education from Mumbai University.
